Harvested Lavender a Little Late

The weather has been just too pleasant to be inside and blog. I was harvesting some lavender today, just after a small rain overnight and realized that I had left it a little too long on the plant...Some of one of the flowers had turned brown and dried out too much for how we like to enjoy our lavender - just ready to bloom, cut in stems and in waterless vases around the house. It was still
